Jadon: “Who inspired you to play football and why?”
Malcolm: “I think my dad is the one who got me started playing football, but I think one of my favorite players is Ray Lewis. I used to like watching his energy and the way he flew around. It looked like he was having a lot of fun playing and I tried to emulate him as I grew up. Still to this day he is my favorite player.”
Jadon: “What is the best part about playing in New Orleans?”
Malcolm: “The best part about playing in New Orleans is the fans. Our fans really, really love our team. They always, regardless of the situation, give us a lot of support. It’s always fun playing in the Superdome because it’s SUPER loud! Like I said, the fans really live and die off of what we do on the field.”
Jadon: “What advice would you give to kids pursuing their dreams of playing football?”
Malcolm: “To work hard. That’s the biggest thing is to work hard and not let anything deter you from your dreams. Always believe in yourself and make sure you always do the work that’s required to get you to your dreams.”
