While adults and kids can have not-so-great days, there’s almost always at least one good thing to take away from each day.
Just before bed each night, have your child jot down one good thing that happened that day. Keep these little happy moments in a jar.
At the end of the year, or when your child is having a rough time, have them open up the jar and read all the wonderful things they’ve done, seen and enjoyed all year long. Be sure to include the date on each happy moment, too.
